Full Description

This National Standard of Canada covers minimum requirements for hose nozzle valves that areintended to be used to control the flow of flammable and combustible liquids, which are handled attemperature within the range of -40 C to +50 C at a working pressure of not less than 350 kPa. Thehose nozzle valves are of the types used in the assembly of motor fuel dispensing equipment. Theyare of the automatic or manually operated type, to the exclusion of types operated wholly or partiallyby electricity.

Amendment 1 contains revisions to correct the requirements in Clause 3.4.2, which speaks of thematerials for fluid confining parts use in a hose nozzle valve. This Standard is now being re-publishedto include Amendment 1 of the Third Edition of CAN/ULC-S620, and all users are advised to obtainthis complete version.
